Exposing Eden Photo Contest

This summer, we are excited to launch the Exposing Eden Photo Contest at Scarborough Village Community Garden. Submit photos of how you enjoy the garden for a chance to win up to $50 and other prizes!

How to Enter

There are three ways to submit your photos:

1. Send your photo via email to scarboroughvillagecg@gmail.com

2. Like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/svcg101/ and post your photo on Facebook with the hashtag #SVCGphotos and tagging our page @svcg101

3. Follow our Instagram account https://www.instagram.com/svcommunitygarden/ and post your photo on Instagram with the hashtag #SVCGphotos and tagging us @svcommunitygarden

All photo submissions must include:

• The title of the photo

• The date when the photo was taken

• A brief description on why you chose the photo

Official Rules

1. The contest entry period spans from Saturday, July 15th, 2017 to Saturday, August 12th, 2017

1. All submitted photos must be taken in the Scarborough Village Community Garden during the contest period

2. All submitted photos must be original photos taken by the contestant submitting the photo

3. The same photo can only be entered once across all methods of submission

4. Each contestant is limited to submit a maximum of five photos

5. All submitted photos with identifiable individuals must be accompanied with a signed photo release form. Form are available upon request

6. By entering the contest, all contestants are agreeing to give a royalty-free license to the Scarborough Village Community Garden Committee to display, distribute, crop and reproduce works of the contestant in any media now existing or subsequently developed including the Internet, for advertising and promotion. Such license is provided without any fee or other form of compensation, or any requirement for additional approvals. Photo credit will be given where possible

Prizes

• There will be one grand prize winner of $50, one second prize winner of $25, and one third prize winner of $15 from all entries across all submission platforms

• There may be other prizes for honourable mentions
